    How long is a law degree?

    The Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Law has a duration of four years and comprises 240 ECTS credits. During this period, you will develop in-depth knowledge across the principal areas of law, including civil, criminal, commercial, constitutional, employment and international law, among others, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the legal system.

    What qualifications do you need to become a lawyer?

    To practise as a lawyer in Spain, you must complete a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Law, followed by the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice (minimum 18 months), undertake a professional placement and pass the official state examination set by the Ministry of Justice.
