Milton Meza Rivas holds a PhD in Law and Political Science and an MBA. As a consultant, lecturer and researcher, he has over 18 years’ experience in legal and strategic studies. His career bridges academic research and professional practice to understand and address the major challenges of the international arena.

He has carried out international consultancy work for the public and private sectors on regulatory matters, development and cooperation, international economic and financial law, defence and diplomacy, as well as peace-building and dialogue. He also has extensive experience in the design, management and implementation of research projects in public international law, international relations and political science.

His research interests include the analysis of organisational risks associated with new and emerging technologies and their implications for the humanities and social sciences. He is the author of academic publications, opinion pieces and reports related to the projects in which he is involved. His work combines an interdisciplinary approach with a commitment to dialogue, using knowledge as a tool to tackle the challenges of a society in transition.
