Criminology
Oriol Francès Matas is a practising criminal lawyer with extensive experience in representing clients in criminal proceedings, acting on behalf of both the prosecution and the defence. He holds a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s degree in Criminal Law from the Barcelona Bar Association, where he ranked first in his year. A specialist in criminal law, prison law, juvenile justice and jury trials, he has been a member of the Prison Law Committee of the Barcelona Bar Association since December 2024.
