Alexis Rodríguez-Rata is an assistant professor of international economics, globalisation and geopolitics at ESERP, University of Vic. He has also been an Erasmus lecturer in this subject at the Institut d’Études Politiques de Fontainebleau (Université Paris XII) and at the École Pratique des Hautes Études Commerciales in Brussels. Previously, he was a visiting lecturer in political science at The New School for Social Research in New York. He is also a journalist specialising in international affairs for the newspaper *La Vanguardia*. He holds a PhD in Law and Political Science from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s degree in Economic History (Barcelona and Zaragoza) and in Journalism (Barcelona and Columbia), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration, specialising in International Relations (Basque Country), having spent a year as an Erasmus student at the Università di Roma ‘La Sapienza’.
