Juan Manuel Viver is an economist with over 10 years’ experience in areas such as climate finance, financial regulation, corporate governance, industrial policy and European institutions (the European Commission, the European Parliament, etc.). He has developed projects and programmes funded by leading global philanthropic organisations working on climate issues (Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, Open Society Foundations, European Climate Foundation, MAVA, Laudes) and by institutions such as the European Commission. He has also advised the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) as a member of its SMSG advisory group, and the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) on financial regulation.
